Gene Heritage Launches New Service Offering DNA Reports

Lexington, MA - October 10, 2016 - Gene Heritage launches a DNA analysis service, offering personalized reports to give consumers new insight into their DNA collected by AncestryDNA™, 23andMe, and FamilyTreeDNA. Gene Heritage’s free Individual Report allows customers of ancestry-only DNA services to discover what genes they have and how these influence traits such as eye color, taste, and smell.

Customers can also purchase the Parent-Child and Grandparent Reports, which contain visually attractive graphics illustrating how specific genes have been passed down through their family. The Grandparent Report measures what percentage of a grandchild's DNA came from which grandparent.

Gene Heritage currently reports on nine genes and their influence on twelve traits, with more genes and traits planned. Gene Heritage’s scientific approach strives to not misrepresent how much reported genes influence traits, fully disclosing whether each gene's influence is strong, moderate or weak.

Gene Heritage is a collaboration between quantitative software developer Castedo Ellerman and Joseph Silver, founder of Designomotion, a creative content company in New York City. Learn more at
